dl-Phenylalanine, or DLPA, is a 50/50 mixture of the d- and l- forms of the amino acid phenylalanine (phenylalanine is one of the few amino acids that can be utilized in its d- form). Researchers believe that d-phenylalanine (DPA) inhibits the action of an enzyme that breaks down endorphins and enkephalins. These are proteins that bind to opioid receptor sites in the brain, thereby influencing the perception of discomfort. By obstructing the action of this enzyme, DPA may extend the life of endorphins and enkephalins and their positive influence on comfort levels. l-Phenylalanine is the precursor to two neurotransmitters that help support an alert state.*

Suggested Use: 1 to 2 tablets 1 to 2 times daily.
Other Ingredients: dibasic calcium phosphate, sorbitol, stearic acid, magnesium stearate, silica, and modified cellulose gum.
Warning: Contains phenylalanine. Not to be used by phenylketonurics, women who are pregnant, may become pregnant, or breastfeeding, or with antidepressant drugs such as MAOIs or SSRIs. If you have chronic high blood pressure, take after meals and/or consult your health care professional.

We take care of your concerns while you order at mapleherbs.com- you are requested to immediately get in touch with us, if you have received wrong or damaged products. All discrepancies must be reported to us within 2 days (48 hours) of the delivery of the order.
You can inform us through a call, chat or customer support email (support@mapleherbs.com). Customers may be asked to provide supporting image/s or video, in case of wrong products received. Our team will verify the requests made by the customer within 24 (twenty-four) business hours from the time of receipt of the complaint. Once the claim is verified as genuine and reasonable, mapleherbs.com will facilitate prepaid return pickup for the wrong product delivered. Please ensure, however, that the product is sealed and the tags, boxes and other packaging is intact, before handing over the incorrect item to our return pickup executive.
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
