Fucoidan is a polysaccharide found in edible seaweeds that grow commonly in Japanese waters. Fucoidan supplementation has been shown to support healthy immune function.
Experts have suggested that regular intake of edible seaweeds is one of the factors that contributes to the exceptionally long, healthy lives enjoyed by lifelong residents of Okinawa, Japan, which for decades has had a dense concentration of centenarians (individuals at least a century old).
Innovative Extraction
Maritech® 926 fucoidan is sourced from hand-harvested, wild seaweed from the pristine ocean waters of Patagonia. An innovative water extraction process ensures fucoidan’s delicate molecular structure is delivered intact to provide the critical nutritional benefit of Undaria pinnatifida, the species of seaweed used in many studies of fucoidan.
A single vegetarian capsule of Optimized Fucoidan with Maritech® 926 provides 88.5 mg of standardized Undaria pinnatifida extract, equaling the amount of fucoidan typically consumed daily in the traditional Japanese diet. Just one capsule daily is enough for most people, but more senior individuals may wish to take two.
Dosage and Use
Take one (1) capsule once or twice daily, or as recommended by a healthcare practitioner.
