Note Regarding Sodium: R-Lipoic acid in the form of the sodium salt (Na-RALA) contains less than 1% of the Daily Value for sodium, an insignificant contribution to dietary sources. Research suggests that sodium may impact blood pressure in some individuals only when it is consumed as sodium chloride (NaCl, table salt) and not in other forms. The sodium in this product is unlikely to affect blood pressure levels.
Contraindications: There were very few studies on the contraindications in using ALA. However, due to the adverse effects of ALA on animals and due to ALA’s physiological effects, one should consult with a doctor before taking it if he/she has the following conditions: Liver disease, Consumption of large amounts of alcohol, Diabetic (ALA is known to lower blood’s sugar), A thyroid disorder, or A thiamine deficiency. Also, one should stop using ALA immediately if an allergic reaction occurs, such as skin rash, nausea, or vomiting. There is not any established contraindication of ALA in pregnant women and infants.

We take care of your concerns while you order at mapleherbs.com- you are requested to immediately get in touch with us, if you have received wrong or damaged products. All discrepancies must be reported to us within 2 days (48 hours) of the delivery of the order.
You can inform us through a call, chat or customer support email (support@mapleherbs.com). Customers may be asked to provide supporting image/s or video, in case of wrong products received. Our team will verify the requests made by the customer within 24 (twenty-four) business hours from the time of receipt of the complaint. Once the claim is verified as genuine and reasonable, mapleherbs.com will facilitate prepaid return pickup for the wrong product delivered. Please ensure, however, that the product is sealed and the tags, boxes and other packaging is intact, before handing over the incorrect item to our return pickup executive.
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
